Y'all. This restaurant is AMAZING! The staff, the food, the atmosphere...all incredible! We found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a go. The first morning we went (because we went multiple times on our trip!!) I had the buffalo chicken omelette and the loaded home fries. I implore you...if you do nothing else in this world go to Sunnyside and get the loaded home fries!!!!! I can't say enough good things about the friendly staff. Nicki, Sherry, and Kelly took such great care of us and remembered us when we showed up on the second day. They gave us recommendations of things to do while in the area and made us feel right at home in Rhode Island. I'm already looking forwrd to my next trip to this delightful diner! Thanks, Sunnyside.....see y'all again soon!

I placed a big take out order on a busy weekend over the phone. The woman was very nice and patient, but half the orders were messed up (not that serious). The prices were reasonable ($3.89 for a bacon egg & cheese with home fries on a "torpedo" roll). I didn't order a torpedo roll, I'd never even heard of it until I went to pick up my order. Not a big deal, just wanted a regular roll. Anyway, on the topic of prices, two of my friends ordered the exact same thing, and one was charged $3.89 and one was charge $6. Still reasonable, I just don't know what the right price should've been.
We all enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches, but took away 1 star because 3 out of 6 ordered were not correct (but still delicious). -

Best local diner experience!!! This place is so charming with an ultra friendly staff. Nicki, Kelly, and Sherry were awesome! Family owned with great pride in what they do. We went back the next day because we loved it so much. Pancakes were delicious and fluffy, eggs cooked perfectly every time, and they introduced this southern girl to coffee milk! If you are in the Providence area take a short detour and hit this place!

Literally in the parking lot writing this. Late breakfast, first time in. The waitress was so pleasant and engaging with my 3 year old and really made his morning! I ordered the Benedict in bed which is eggs Benedict with shaved ham on top of French toast and it was unbelievable. What beat that was my choice of home-fries, where I upgraded to add the bacon and cheese. Even without those added ingredients, i feel like the home fries are those 'so good you don't need ketchup' kind. My son had the choc chip pancakes and you really can't go wrong with those but the HOT maple syrup was an awesome touch. We will definitely be finding our way back. Oh and lastly! The prices are another reason you have NO EXCUSE to not try this place out
